Dr. Jamie Wallace was born in Edmonton and raised in Calgary. He received his Bachelor of Science in cellular, molecular, and microbial biology from the University of Calgary. He then attended the University of Manitoba, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1997. Upon graduation, he returned to Calgary to practice Dentistry. Dr. Wallace has been practicing at Country Hills Dental Centre since January 2000.
To stay current with the latest innovations in the rapidly changing dental field, Dr. Wallace has attended the Spear Institute, the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, the Institute for Dental Education and Advanced Dental Surgeries, and numerous study clubs, where he has further enhanced his knowledge and passion for dentistry, most specifically in the areas of esthetic and implant dentistry.
Dr. Wallace has modern training in treating sleep apnea and snoring. He is passionate about the impact poor sleep has on quality of life and has studied with several leading researchers in the area, using the latest in dental appliance technology.
Dr. Wallace has also received certification through the University of Alberta to provide Botox therapy for temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ) and cosmetic treatments of the face. Dr. Wallace maintains membership with the Calgary and District Dental Society, Alberta Dental Association, and Canadian Dental Association.
Along with other members of Country Hills Dental Centre, Dr. Wallace volunteers with a non-profit organization, Kindness in Action, which provides free dental care to people in developing countries.
Dr. Wallace and his wife, Kim, have 2 daughters and a son. When not busy with work and family, Dr. Wallace enjoys travelling, skiing, golfing, and spending time at the lake.
