What Is Temporomandibular Joint Disorder?
The term temporomandibular joint disorder describing chronic pain in the TMJ. Because it can refer to such a wide variety of things, the causes, symptoms, and severity varies greatly from person to person. However, nearly every patient suffering from TMD experiences some degree of pain or discomfort.
